I grew up a missionary kid in Malaysia and have traveled to more than thirty countries since. It let me see identity in a way most people don't, long before I had words for it. Who we are is built from the inside out, not just our environment or experiences.
I believe we are all born with gold inside us. The work is to excavate it, package it, and share it with the world. That is our legacy. When we understand ourselves better and live closer to our optimal performance, we make a greater impact on the world around us.
I have always been an entrepreneur, long before I knew what one was. As a kid, I was scheming on how to import beautiful goods from Thailand to sell in America. I was fascinated by how people could create something valuable out of their own talents.
The first business I built was a nonprofit for children, Star Shooter: Phototherapy for Kids. It took me to Bangladesh and across several states, helping kids see their internal beauty by supporting them as they expressed their emotions through images.
That led to a fifteen-year international photography business, sharing my own gold with the world through a natural gift for capturing beauty. I served thousands of clients. It was an effortless success, one that flowed without ads or marketing campaigns, because it came directly from who I am. That is exactly what I want to teach others. How to build an effortless business from who they already are.
My mission now is to help others create identity-based brands through psychology-powered strategies. That mission is what opened the door to my obsession with AI. AI has given me an incredible amount of cognitive space, the room to create more than I ever thought possible. The past three years building AI tools and automations for my clients has been exhilarating, watching them gain time freedom and shed the mental load of running their businesses.
Time freedom is one of my deepest values, and AI used well gives people their time back and lightens the mental load. When the mind has room, we create more than we thought possible. This is why I love empowering others with AI.
